Article 1 — Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

Article 2 — Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all quotations, offers and agreements of Memorable Hunting. Deviations are only valid if agreed in writing.

Article 3 — Booking and formation of agreement

A booking is final upon receipt of the written confirmation from Memorable Hunting and payment of the deposit. The client receives a booking confirmation by email.

Article 4 — Prices and payments

All stated prices exclude flights unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices are based on exchange rates at the time and may be adjusted for significant rate changes, provided this is communicated no later than 20 days before departure.

Memorable Hunting reserves the right to adjust prices due to unforeseen circumstances such as exchange rate changes, tax changes or rising third-party costs.

Article 5 — Cancellation by the client

The following cancellation charges apply:

Cancellation must always be confirmed in writing (by email). The date of receipt is the cancellation date.

Article 6 — Cancellation by Memorable Hunting

Memorable Hunting reserves the right to cancel a trip in case of force majeure (including but not limited to: natural disasters, political unrest, epidemics, government measures). In that case the paid amount will be fully refunded or an alternative offered.

Article 7 — Travel documents and permits

The client is responsible for a valid passport, visa (if required), weapon documents and any vaccinations. Memorable Hunting provides advice but bears no liability for insufficient or incorrect documentation.

Article 8 — Insurance

The client is required to take out adequate travel insurance including medical and repatriation coverage. Liability insurance and hunting coverage are strongly recommended. Memorable Hunting is not liable for damage, injury or loss against which the client could reasonably have insured.

Article 9 — Liability

Memorable Hunting acts as organiser and intermediary. The hunt is carried out by certified Professional Hunters and local partners in South Africa. Memorable Hunting is not liable for:

The liability of Memorable Hunting is in all cases limited to the value of the booked trip.

Article 10 — Trophies and shipping

Memorable Hunting coordinates trophy preparation and shipping. The client is responsible for compliance with laws and regulations in the destination country (CITES, customs, veterinary requirements). Delays at customs or government agencies are outside the responsibility of Memorable Hunting.

Article 11 — Complaints

Complaints should be reported on-site as soon as possible. Written complaints can be submitted within 14 days of return via info@memorablehunting.nl. Memorable Hunting aims to respond to complaints within 14 working days.

Article 12 — Applicable law

All agreements with Memorable Hunting are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are preferably resolved by mutual agreement. If this fails, the competent court in the Netherlands has exclusive jurisdiction.
